On the outside, everything looks fine, but you know it doesn't feel that way.

You don't need someone to tell you to just breathe or think positive. You need someone who can help you understand why you feel this way in the first place.

You don't have to keep figuring this out alone.

You don't have to keep figuring this out alone.

This Might Be You…

You noticed your friend seemed off at book club and texted to check in when you got home. You remembered your mom's appointment, your friend's hard week, your coworker's bad day. You're so good at holding it together that no one thinks to ask if you're okay.

You tell yourself you shouldn't care what people think. You do anyway. You know your worth isn't tied to your body. It doesn't feel that way when you're scrolling Instagram. You know you should say no. Something stops you every time.

You overprepare for the meeting because you can't stand the thought of embarrassing yourself in front of other people. You lie awake the night before replaying a conversation from earlier that day because you're afraid of saying the wrong thing or hurting someone's feelings. You can't remember a time you didn't feel worried about something.

You've Googled it. You've listened to the podcasts. You've read the books. You've watched the experts on Instagram reels and still not that much has changed.

You don't need another podcast episode. You need someone who can help you work through the root of it.

Hi, I’m Ashlee!

Earlier in my career I remember thinking, why am I only meeting women with eating disorders when they've already been suffering for years? I wanted to be able to help them before it got to that point, before the suffering had gone on so long.

I started noticing what these women had in common. They were successful and put together on the outside, but inside they were anxious and overthinking, sacrificing their own needs, struggling to say no, feeling uncomfortable in their body, and turning to food when they felt overwhelmed.

That's the woman I work with now, and after thirteen years of doing this work, I've found that what's often underneath it usually comes back to the same things and it can be understood and that’s when things can change.

Providing online therapy for women in Salt Lake City, Utah, and across the state, including Logan, Park City, Provo, St. George, and Cedar City.

What Therapy With Me Looks Like

You don't have to show up with the right words or everything figured out.

  • You won't have to explain Utah culture to me. I already get it.

  • I'll notice when you're explaining your feelings instead of actually feeling them, and I'll help you slow down enough to feel the difference.

  • I'll help you connect your anxiety, your automatic yes, and your relationship with your body back to where it all started.

  • I'm not going to hand you a worksheet or a list of coping skills. You've already done enough of that on your own.

  • I'm not going to push body positivity on you or tell you to look in the mirror and repeat affirmations until you believe them.

  • I'm not going to tell you that getting your nails done or a girls trip is going to fix what's underneath it.

Therapy for Anxiety, Body Image, and Disordered Eating

You Might Be Who I Work With

  • You're an educated, accomplished Utah woman who is good at her job, and you're still afraid of embarrassing yourself or looking stupid in front of other people.

  • You're the person your family and friends count on and you struggle to be vulnerable even with the people closest to you.

  • You're known for being dependable and kind, and you feel sick to your stomach at the thought of disappointing anyone.

  • You're a woman who would never speak unkindly to someone she loves and you say things to yourself when you look in the mirror that you'd never say to anyone else.

  • You're thoughtful and self aware, and you've replayed the same conversation three times today wondering if you said something wrong.

Therapy Can Help You Start To:

→ Say no without taking it back or spending the next hour feeling guilty about it.

→ Be in photos and create memories without speaking negatively about your body or avoiding the camera altogether.

→ Speak up about how you feel to the people in your life without immediately regretting it and replaying it all night.

→ Go to bed at night without replaying every conversation you had that day wondering if you said the wrong thing or upset someone.
